#420SoWhite: Is the Next Great American Industry just another American deja vu?
Ep. 5: April 1, 2016
With the cannabis industry growing like weeds (no pun intended), is there room in this new gold rush to bring much needed attention to the over criminalization of a substance that has been reported to be the most commonly used illicit drug in the US? A 2013 study by the National Survey on Drug Use and Health revealed 19.8 million people had reported using marijuana in the month before they were surveyed. On this episode, we’ll chat with Wanda James, owner of Simply Pure, the only black-women run cannabis dispensary in CO and get her perspective on the next great American industry. Tokers welcome.
