Stacey Tinianov

Following her own breast cancer diagnosis in 2013, Stacey Tinianov left the world of high tech to build bridges in digital health and beyond as a patient and community engagement consultant. She openly shares clinical and emotional details of her own breast cancer diagnosis, treatment and survivorship in the hopes that, as knowledge breeds understanding, we can collectively transform healthcare to meet the holistic needs of patients, caregivers and clinicians. When she’s not working on promoting collaboration; data sharing; empathy; quality of life; health literacy or transforming healthcare from an illness-based system to a wellness-based system, she enjoys helping others in finding their 'outside voice' during times of both wellness and illness. She also enjoys tandem ultracycling with her husband, backyard organic gardening, standing small beside the ocean and trying to keep up with her two teenage children in Santa Clara, CA.
