The San Francisco Bay Area is one of the most diverse places on the planet, yet dialog between culture creators and change makers is often limited…until now! 360BayArea dives into the lifestyle, politics, and unique perspectives of colorful voices from all around the Bay. On this episode we brought Elizabeth, Kat, John, Maria, Lamat, Lulue and Jamarr to talk about their ethnic backgrounds, upbringings and family traditions.  It's what we around here  call "Dishing your deets!" Homelessness in the City: Trying to Solve What Seems UnSolveable

Ep. 7: March 29, 2016

We're following up on frustrations around the homeless issue voiced by a couple of our previous guests, including Leila and John. On this episode our guest is Sam Dodge who's been working to find solutions to the ongoing epidemic of homelessness from coast to coast since the year 2000. Sam was a member of New York City's Department of Homeless Services team that worked to design and manage programs that reduced street homelessness by 60%. And in 2015 he was appointed to serve as the Director of Housing Opportunity, Partnerships and Engagement, or HOPE, here in San Francisco. In addition to talking to him about poop, yes, poop we'll find out if he thinks there is hope for the homeless... and what you can do to influence the status quo!
